Denim Shirt: 6 ways to wear

I'm not sure if you guys have noticed but I have an inclination to turn to my denim shirt when I'm in a rush to get dressed. It's such an easy and reliable piece to throw on. I've worn it all through Winter to Spring and now back to Winter again and it's an item I've grown very attached to. There are so many ways to wear a denim shirt and I thought I'd just show you guys a few ways that I'd style my denim shirt. It is almost every season friendly, almost. I think Summer may have to be the downfall of a denim shirt because it retains heat pretty well and retaining heat is the last thing you want on a scorching hot day.

#1 Ms. Preppy Pants

A little twist on the preppy trend making it a little less girly and a little more school-yard cool.

Pants:
Dotti Skinny jeans (Multi Floral)

Shoes:
Shubar  Harlem heels (tan)

#2 Make a Bee line to the A-Line

A denim shirt can sometimes feel a little frumpy so the shirt tucked into an A-line skirt or skater skirt that hugs around the waist gives a little more elegance and shape to your body.

Cotton On Lace A-Line skirt (orange)

#3 All Tied Up Without A Care

Why not tie up the shirt around the waist for a little more fun feel and sassying up that simple outfit without having to do much.

#4 The Daring Double Denim

Do the double denim look if you feel a little daring. Avoid matching shades of your top and bottom so try high-waisted color pop denim or printed denim for a less conspicuous double denim look. Try tucked or untucked.
