Playsuits: 5 ways to style

When in doubt, a playsuit (otherwise known as a romper) is one of the easiest things to fall back on. Like a dress you don't really need to worry about which top goes with which pants. You can throw on a playsuit and dress it around however you like. You can wear them with or without cute patterned tights depending on the weather. It's as easy as 1-2-3!

#1 Keeping it casual

Patterned playsuits are already the main focus which means you don't really have to worry about anything else. Keep everything else simple so throw on a denim or khaki jacket, a pair of comfy flats, sneakers or brogues and voila! You'll be looking cute whether it's for a picnic, a bike ride or a casual date.

#2 Candy crush

I'm a fan of bright colors so when it comes to putting an outfit together that pops like a candy store, you can count me in. Pastel colors and bright jeweled colors go well together if you're not for the whole bright clash of the colorwheel type of gal since the pastel is less harsh on the eyes.  If your clothes are bold, go for a nude heel or wedge, they bring focus to your clothes and also give an illusion of longer legs.

#3 Where did she goth?

With a simple playsuit you can jazz up the whole outfit with a uniquely patterned jacket or coat. If you're not feeling too girly then why not goth up your outfit with crosses, and even a velvet cardigan if you're feeling a little daring, if that's too much then suede wedges also provides that same gothic feel. Red and black always makes for a vampy gothic combination.

#4 Sweet disposition

When it comes to playsuits, some would say that it's more of casual piece but sometimes there are playsuits that are designed for more formal and romantic occasions. A sweetheart neckline is always flattering and the right one can take you from first dates to even a fancy proposal. Stay classy with a blazer and moderate height heels, the comfortable pair of shoes will keep you happy throughout your romantic date. Don't forget a nice collared necklace, it will make sure that you won't feel too bare when that blazer is off and the jewels embedded will also make sure that you'll be the star the night.
